Technology is killing itself. Developing third world countries are diminishing the rain forests and America is choking on its own carbon monoxide.

Trees produce oxygen and now, since we've tipped the balance between the production and consumption of oxygen, we'd better become "air farmers" fast!
WHAT ARE WE DOING ABOUT IT?
The Newton Civic Pride Beautification Committee was formed in 1989, to promote environmental awareness. We do this by selling flower bulbs and trees, and by developing school education programs for out children.
4,000,000 FLOWER BULBS HAVE BEEN SOLD!
Proceeds have gone to beautify Newton: Newton Free Library, Newton City Hall, Newton Center Green, eight housing projects, fire stations and traffic islands and village squares.
NOW A TREE ENDOWMENT FUND HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED TO KEEP NEWTON GREENER AND HEALTHIER!
PLESE MAKE A DONATION TO THE NEWTON PRIDE TREE ENDOWMENT FUND
- Honor or memorialize an individual or your special occasion.
- Make a donation to the Newton Civic Pride Tree Endowment Fund.
- All donations will be acknowledged. For a donation of $50.00 or more, you or your designee, will receive a beautiful certification of recognition suitable for framing.
- SITE PRESENTATION OF A MATURE TREE CAN BE ARRANGED ($600-$750) to honor or memorialize an individual, group or event. A tree is the perfect expression of esteem. A tradition of gifts of mature trees to celebrate special individuals and occasions will provide enduring benefits to our community.
